Yahoo News is reporting this morn that the nation's governors are protesting the costs of implementing the new regulations on drivers licenses across America, regulations that require states to verify license applicants are American citizens or legal residents.
The governors are going to bring their complaints to Homeland Security director, Michael Chertoff this morning.
Unless we have identity integrity, or know who is here, how is it that you would ever have a clue as to who does not belong here or could be a terrorist? It seems to me that this drivers license improvement is a beginning and necessary step of the necessary progress that American needs now. Governor Bill Richardson of New Mexico on the other hand thinks this regulation is unconstitutional. What do you think? Click on the post to read the article.

I think you could be a terrorist if you have a valid driver's license and lots of ID and even have been a soldier - McVay was a decorated soldier, citizen of the US AND a terrorist. So was whoever put anthrax in everything and has never been brought to justice, so, also, were the two snipers in Maryland and Washington DC area who were shooting people. They were here legally, citizens and terrorist.
ReplyDeleteSo, identity integrity is really fun, but no help.
