Amish near Evansville thrive beyond farming
The Janesville Gazette has done a nice sketch of Mr. Helmuth and Custom Quality Windows which is located near Evansville, but more importantly, the article describes the gradual emergence of the Amish as successful business owners beyond the narrow farming roles they have traditionally pursued.

The amish are some very special people, I grew up over by Albany and we had several Amish family's living right down the road from us. If you ever needed anything or if some one had a hard ship they were the first one's there. When my dad got sick, they were the ones who showed up first to do that springs planting, never mind the fact they had their own to do. They are very kind people, hardworking, with very good values.
