Beyond the blame game. Beyond any discussion of investigations. There is a lesson for all Americans that comes clearly out of New Orleans. Molly Ivans hits it on the head.
As much as one might yearn for a world without politics. A world of total agreement. A big easy street of tailgate parties. None exists.

Even though finger pointing does no good, someone is to blame. It's embarrassing how long it took to get those people help. We respond to other country's faster than we respond to our own. I think Bush needs to stand up and admit his administration screwed up.(again) All those lives lost. They were so unprepared, even though they knew this was going to be a massive storm. This can never be made right , those lives can never be brought back, and the administration is never going to be able to explain this away. So much more should have been done at the state and federal level.
ReplyDeleteReally there does need to be finger pointing, because if this administration is not held accountable nothing will ever change.
