Gazette Corner: International Mercury Conference Begins Today--Evansville Students, Parents Involved

Click on the post for the story by Gina Duwe on the International Mercury Conference that begins today in Madison at Monona Terrace.

Local students from Theodore Robinson Intermediate school were involved in an art project for this conference.

Russ Feingold will be speaking today, and I hope to have the text of his speech available soon.

If you are saying, "Why mercury?"---you need to follow this story. There is the chemistry.....and the politics. The chemistry is very advanced. The politics is back in the dark ages. Stay tuned for all the details over the coming week.

Meanwhile, click on the post for Gina Duwe's story and the parents and kids from Evansville that are involved.
