Gazette Corner: CJCC: Drug Courts Come to Front Burner; Sept. is Decision Time

Click on the post for the latest on the recent CJCC, Criminal Justice Coordinating Council meeting that discussed the variety of options that could serve as jail alternatives---support for drug courts appears to be growing as well as electronic monitoring----as Dan Hinkel notes in the article, these type of offenders involving drug and alcohol and possibly domestic violence issues have to have a network of support that addresses the needs of the offenders as well as the community.
