Well, you know "they" are paranoid. Unfortunately, "they" are the ones we have put in power. As Pogo once said, we have met the enemy, and he is us.
ReplyDeleteI often wonder who is more dangerous, the "terrorists" we are fighting "over there" - as in Irag, or the ones who are supposedly protecting us, using tools such as Echelon, and god knows what else.
Do I feel safer because of Echelon? Not necessarily. However, what is the alternative?
