I have written previously about the saga in Fontana, where the DOJ ethics seminar has been utilized free of charge to resolve a dispute between the village board and the police department.
The Janesville Gazette is running a story about the Village president, Tom Whowell and an incident involving a police stop that sheds light on some of the areas of dispute.
Click on the post for the full article. The village of Fontana has decided to retain it's police department rather than have the Walworth Co. Sheriff dept provide services.
