The President Didn't know---But neither did America

Click on the post for the dialogue between President Bush and a reporter on some sun shades.

The incidence of vision loss for those over age 50 due to macular degeneration and other disorders is huge in America. Folks wear sunglasses or caps of all sorts to shield the glare which is painful. Few get it.

To the credit of the President---he called this reporter after and apologized. The reporter then told Pres. Bush that he still wanted the usual needling. The President promised to just adjust the needle.

Now the President showed he knows. Now all of America knows.
