I think its pretty impressive anytime a town this size makes the national news. Pretty impressive.

  2. I had posted on a different site that Karen did not have my support. I did change my view based on Sandy Decker's antiquated point of view in regard to the way we communicate.

Karen actually contacted me via email and thanked me for my "backdoor endorsement" due to my lack of support for Sandy's position, rather than my actual support of her. We conversed through several ongoing emails and she wanted to know what was my reluctance to vote for her.

She answered some of the questions I had and cleared up some of my reservations relating to past votes on the plan commission. I would encourage everyone to find out more facts before you form your opinion. Karen's email is on the city site and I am sure she will address any questions and/or concerns you have if you contact her (or meet with her Sat. at wee ones). If you have any questions for Sandy position's you will evidently have to stop by her house.

I will vote for Karen and I feel good about that after our electronic discussion, rather than it just being a vote of not as bad as the other option.
