Stoughton Schools consider New Yahara 30 Mil school; Old school built on swamp?

The Stoughton School District is currently pondering whether to simply demolish the old Yahara school and build a new one. The old school apparently was built on a swamp and nobody knew of this. yo. The prospect of mold and water in the classrooms adds some urgency to the current discussion.

Rest assured that though the area specified on the future Evansville Land Use map for a future school was found to be essentially a swamp, that has been changed and new dry areas are being reviewed. We are the "Blue Devils," not the "Swamp Dogs." We build on the dry ground.
