Click on the post for a full discussion of the pros and cons of increased student fees that were implemented at the Stoughton Schools.

In one case, an increased student parking fee has resulted in students parking in nearby residential areas and increasing traffic congestion.

All schools seem to be pondering increasing fees. Click on the post for the news from Stoughton. Enjoy.

  1. Did I read this article correctly they ONLY pay 10.00 per sport, 20.00 max???If more than one sport. I knew our school fees were high, but not that high. YIKES!!! As for the students parking on the street instead of paying the increased fee, GOOD for them!!!! They are showing good judgement. They are not doing anything illegal by parking on the street. Its like when you shop around for something, you have a price in mind and stick to your budget. I think its funny. It back fired on them, trying to stick it to the kids and the kids out smarted the school. Another comment about their athletic fees, it does not seem fair that their sport fees are so much lower than fees for participating in a Academic club. Thats not right. Really if anything it should be the other way around. It tells you where the school's priorities are.
