DRAFT MINUTES
The meeting was called to order at 6:00 PM. by Chairman Cothard. Present were Alderpersons Cothard, Roberts and Sornson. Also present were Mary Beaver, EMS Coordinator and Scott McElroy, Evansville Police Chief.
Minutes
Motion by Roberts, seconded by Sornson to approve the December 6, 2006 Minutes. Motion passed 3-0.
Citizen appearances other than agenda items listed
Mr. Kraus was present to talk about the Run and Bike Marathon that will be brought to Evansville on June 2, 2007. Mr. Kraus will return in May to finalize the Marathon plans.
Police Report
Scott McElroy, Police Chief, reported that the police department has recently purchased and installed the new gun safe. Also reported was that the PD had over 7600 calls in last year.
Emergency Medical Service Report
Mary Beaver, EMS Coordinator, reported that LifeQuest has offered a credit card service for a small fee per month to accept credit cards for EMS payments. Public Safety Committee recommends to try it for 6 months. Also reported was the EMS has had 352 calls in the last year.
New Business
Operator’s Licenses
Motion by Cothard, seconded by Sornson to approve Operator’s Licenses for Lisa Sonnentag. Motion Carried.

Motion by Cothard, seconded by Sornson to adjourn at 6:55 PM.
