Gazette Corner: Forum for Rock Co Sheriff discusses treatment of mentally ill

The world is full of people who don't understand the mentally ill and alot of times just don't want to. I hope these candidates who are pledging change follow through.
ReplyDeleteThere needs to be some sort of in between, some of them can not be out on the street, I mean they are in jail for a reason, and their are those who refuse to take their medication, or can't afford it. But the county jail truley is not equiped to deal with it. I think its a subject that needs to be studied and see what kind of other options there are.
