Flamingos Startle Evansville: Make Statement: Brave Cold

(Ed. note: double click on lower right of photo to enlarge.)

A very striking development has greeted Evansville this very cold morning as schools have been closed due to extreme cold weather-----TWO more flamingos have returned from the comfortable southern climates to stand with the LONE FLAMINGO in support of the Woulfe for School Board effort.

The meaning is somewhat unclear. Some bloggers had hoped for a change of message from the LONE FLAMINGO to a more warm message ----or at least a partner flamingo. Now with TWO flamingos joining the lone flamingo, the message might be the WOULFE among the flamingos? What is the relationship? All of Evansville is abuzz this morn speculating.

When contacted, the Woulfe campaign has reassured the press that....well....they are just friends and...besides they are very cold out there and ...besides...they are of course upholding the highest standards of flamingo conduct. These standards are being researched in Google as we speak, and will be reported on later.

Stay tuned to The Evansville Observer for all the developing stories of these flamingos. What will happen next? What does it all mean?

Stay tuned. And Stay warm.

    Those are brave birds!!!!
I fully support you for school board, however I draw the line at standing outside in this cold, half dressed, like these birds.
