Evansville East Main pleased with Radar Trailer Results

The placement of the new Evansville Police Radar Trailer on East Main has had an excellent effect on slowing the traffic to the 25mph. speed limit. Thank You.

How do we get the radar trailer on our street? We need it for the high schoolers that fly down our street before and after school and during lunch hours.

We are very greatful to have the radar on our street, we have had traffic issues for years that have gotten better. It does make a difference. We also have the heaviest traveled street in town. Its not just the high schooler's that are driving faster than they should in the school zone, there are plenty of adults that do as well. Thought they would know better.
The other thing we noticed in some of the younger kids when they are crossing the street, they just run out into the road , don't even bother to look. That is just as dangerous as any speeding car, and needs to be addressed as well.
