Click on the post for an article in the OpEd page by Dave Zweifel. He sees the GOP policy position regarding health care as a major weakness. He quotes former Gov. Lee Dreyfus on saying that Republicans think that full coverage for all Americans would amount to socialism. Huh? Sounds pretty familiar to some of those old Barry Goldwater speeches.
Having spent years visiting with families trying to pay hospital bills, I believe it is very clear that the notion that health saving accounts can improve things is very, very wrong.
Even in our 80th District race between Ringhand and Davis, as I understand it, Brett Davis is on the saving account side of the issue.
Where do you stand on improving the current health care situation for Americans?
