Supr. Carvin brought up some good points concerning renewable energy. It's too bad it had nothing to do with the question on the agenda.

Renewable energy was not the debate on Thursday night. If you want to teach kids something, might I suggest teaching them to be responsible and informed with an issue before you pull the Supr. card. It's unsettling to me the head teacher of Evansville was not able to follow simple instructions as given by the Plan Commission.

No one is debating the effects of being an energy glutton.

The only thing concerning the ordinance I heard was, "compromise". The invisible information you presented the commission with will convince them to ignore thousands of hours of research and study concerning health and safety and compel the plan commission to disregard sometimes weekly OPEN PUBLIC MEETINGS which have been held since early last fall and numerous revisions to accommodate all parties involved.

This is not buying a used Buick down at the car lot. Asking price already reduced to $2640, but you walk in and without looking under the hood offer $1150.

As a former young student, might I suggest a few simple lessons to teach young children: listen carefully and follow directions, do your homework, and be responsible and considerate of others well being.
