Shame on the Lions Club and the Park Board for entertaining this idea. Those poor animals. They want to raise money, pick a ethical one.

How do you know it is an unethical one prior to the circus discussion on Monday? I assume you are basing that on the circus event several years ago. Perhaps they have a different plan. Why don't you attend the Park Board meeting on Monday before you form your opinion.

It doesn't make any sense to me either why they would move city hall across town for one day.

I am old enough that when I was younger I went to quite a few circus's and I have yet to be to one where the animals are treated fairly. Kept in small cages for hours at a time, changed at all times by their legs , some even when they are in cages. I stick to my original statement. Stop taking the easy way out in terms of fund raising and look for a more ethical one.

Did I ever tell you I've been struck by lightening seven times- That is funny. Sadly I as well thought it was about city hall/ city council when I heard the word circus.
