Pioneer Press: Twin Cities: More Schools make move to Weighted Grades

The purpose of weighted grades is to provide a structural incentive for students to take difficult courses, rather than encourage students to take easy courses and get A's. The quality of a students transript has always been equal to the difficulty of the courses taken for top tier colleges. Stay tuned.
