Observer salutes RKM Studios new Wind turbine video: Memories of Sergei Eistensein

The Russian filmaker Sergei Eisenstein in his film "Battleship Potemkein" unveiled a theory of lighting and film editing montage that has been used ever since. Click on the post for a glimpse of that film. As a young grad student in Madison in 1969 this was one of the first films I saw. The recent video "Wind of Change" by RKM Studios brings some of the same uses of black on white and pacing that was the hallmark of Sergei Einstein.
