Yes! Let's keep blaming the teachers! It's easy--and fun--even if the arguments in favor of doing so amount to little more than Republican talking points you'd likely hear on Fixed News. If bad teachers remain in their positions, it is Admin's fault. Tenure does not, and never has protected poor teachers; it does protect GOOD teachers from being fired for something other than just cause. But, tenure requires admin to document their just cause, AND give an oppourtunity and suggestions on how to fix what they see as deficient. If admin chooses not to follow through, than shame on them. Most responsible unions don't want bad teachers any more than admin.
