PSC NAMES WIND SITING COUNCIL
The PSC announced today appointment of a Wind Siting Council, which was mandated by Act 40 to be an advisory council to the commission. Act 40 also directed the PSC to develop administrative rules specifying restrictions which may be imposed on installation or use of wind energy systems.
The following persons were named to the council: Dan Ebert, WPPI Energy; David Gilles, Godfrey & Kahn; Tom Green, Wind Capital Group; Jennifer Heinzen, Lakeshore Technical College; Andy Hesselbach, We Energies; George Krause Jr., Choice Residential LLC; Lloyd Lueschow, Green County; Jevon McFadden, UW School of Medicine and Public Health; Tom Meyer, Restaino & Associates; Bill Rakocy, Emerging Energies of Wisconsin, LLC; Dwight Sattler, a landowner; Ryan Schryver, Clean Wisconsin; Michael Vickerman, RENEW Wisconsin; Larry Wunch, a landowner; and, Doug Zweizig, Union Township.
