Union Board: Impact on Schools?

The attorney for Mr. Shotliff stated that Supr. Carvin had said that this development would not have an effect on our schools. This was disputed.

I sometimes wonder if Heidi Carvin can remember what she told who. OF course its going to impact our schools. There is no way it is not going to . Heidi Carvin is just trying to get them to see her in a good light as she is going to go after them with a ref. I am willing to bet money on it. Those same people would be sittting there going , hello !!! She,Heidi, wants money for a new school and running costs? But she told us it would not effect the schools. What a wake up call they would have.

There is voluminous video and audio on The Observer of Supr. Carvin warning of our schools nearing capacity--so--

When the attorney made the statement regarding Supr. Carvin saying there would be no impact, numerous folks in the audience murmered the words "neutral"-- I recall her words as being she was "neutral" on the proposal. That is a very different statement from saying there is no impact. One is neutral, since the price of the homes per a developer agreement has not been set, the pace has not been set, and the odds of getting approved are less that 50-50, and the role of a superintendent is not to be an advocate of every development proposal. So---there is an issue of fact of what Supr. Carvin said to this attorney.

I expect that Supr Carvin can weigh in on what she said. In public she has warned. In fact overwarned in some cases which I have detailed.

And yes, chasin, she has also asked for more services such as 4k, and additional overhead. Oh---and 44 million in schools.

Richard I am glad you clarified What the situation was in terms of what was actually said. I did not know how she could tell anyone it would not impact schools, when she is begging for a new one due to her idea of ' overcrowding'. Which I have kids in 3/4 schools and I'm there quite often and I don't see the crowding issue. I would like to add a addition to our home because we think we are crowded. Would love for tax payers to pay for it, now that would be nice.
