Blogs: Chasin: Hints of Plan B

Click on the post for the latest from "Chasin"---- "Chasin" seems to suggest that the appointment to Economic Development has the appearance of impropriety.

Its funny I was thinking the same thing. The other thing I found interesting is at the council meeting last night it was suggested to her by alderperson that she post these openings so that citizens could contact her if they wanted to be on these committees and her reaction said it all..... she only wants on these committees who she wants. Those who will do as she says and does not make waves. She did not react well at all to the suggestion yet she complains to other alderpeople she can't find people to fill these positions.

Mr. James does not live or work within the city limits as claimed last night.

    Economic Development
    (7 members: 2 alderpersons; 5 citizens w/ 3-year, staggered terms)

Unless Mr. James pays any city taxes like Mr. Berg, which could serve as an exception, he is not eligible for this appointment.
