I hope to report more on this after the Evansville School Board meeting. This case raises lots of questions about internal control, purchasing, inventory control, as well as auditing, or depth thereof and timeliness. Stay tuned.

I'm not sure what insulted my intelligence more: The fact that the District Administrator allowed the school to operate without any real inventory control policy, or that she thinks we taxpayers should give her a pass, because 'that's the way a lot of small schools did it.' PUH-LEASE!!!
