This is a great article. Evansville has faced a similar choice with the D&D Development property southeast of the intersection of USH 14 and CTH M. D&D won't develop the property with TIF, but TIF assistance is not warranted, at least not in the amount and form demanded by D&D. So far, the city's elected officials have not capitulated to D&D's demands.
