“STRIKE OUT FOR BASEBALL”
EVANSVILLE HOME TALENT TEAM HOSTS FUNDRAISER
The Evansville Home Talent Baseball Team’s 7th annual 9 pin tap bowling tournament fundraiser “STRIKE OUT FOR BASEBALL” was held on Saturday, March 10 and Saturday, March 17 at the Evansville Bowl. The fundraiser only had 50 bowlers, compared to 108 bowlers in 2011, compete for the coveted top prize and bragging rights.
The top ten bowlers were: 1) John Paugel, 2) Jeremy Rasmussen, 3) Bridget Rauch, 4) Terry Jorgenson, 5) BJ Cook, 6) Dave Paugel, 7) Mike Rauch, 8) John Rasmussen, 9) Ryan Wiedel, 10) Andy Wells. The Jays would like to recognize and thank the following businesses who donated raffle prizes: Milwaukee Bucks, Beloit Snappers, Madison Mallards, Radio Shack of Evansville, Rock N’ Rollz Sandwiches, Paul Revere’s Pizza, Evansville Oil Pros and Mid Town Pub. Also, The Night Owl provided two for one drink tickets for participating bowlers.
The Evansville Home Talent Baseball team is busy preparing for the upcoming 2012 season. New for 2012, the Jays will be playing all of their games at the upper diamond at Lake Leota Park. The Jays would like to see you at the ball park this summer.
The team is currently looking for sponsors/advertisers for the upcoming season. Be part of the Jays marketing and promotional plans.
