. Cothard made a motion, seconded by Culbertson to approve agreement with YMCA of Northern Rock County for operation of youth program (revised proposal from YMCA, no recommendation from FLR). Braunschweig stated the City budgeted a 29% cut in funds, yet the YMCA is proposing a contract that has a 49% cut in services. Council discussed the effects the service cuts would have and suggested alternative school sponsored programs. Council stated they needed more information in order to make a decision and no vote was taken on the original motion. Decker volunteered to attend the Youth Center meeting on Monday, December 18th. In addition, a member of the Youth Center and the School District would be invited to the February Council meeting. Braunschweig made a motion, seconded by Ringhand to table the item until the February meeting. Motion approved 8-0.
