Geez Louise, this was such a timely notification. Now everybody can say: "THAT'S why we all had diarrhea on August 13..." I hope people with weakened immune systems and wee babes were notified in a more timely fashion, but I doubt it. We just got the notification in the mail in the last week. What good does it do now, other than cost money to send out to some 2000 homes and fulfill some government regulation to tell your constituents when you have poisoned them? Thanks for that.
ReplyDeleteI was told by one of the city leaders that they have a meeting every few weeks with all of the heads of the various departments throughout the city--police, dpw, water and light, etc.--but also including the city administrator and mayor. This person said that none of the leaders were informed. Like a specific decision not to let it out.
ReplyDeleteMilwaukee got sued for this very same thing.
