Two of the firefighters up for promotion were of Hispanic origin. This ruling is correct and years too late. It troubles me that it even had to get to this level to be resolved. Everyone is so overcome with fear when it comes to race that is seems, when in doubt, do the P.C. thing.
ReplyDeleteI am hopeful one day they will all just be New Haven Connecticut firefighters. Underneath the helmet and the gear that is all they are, why does it make any difference when the equipment comes off? Justice prevailed.
