The city must approve "rolling out the TIF" or delaying the closing of the current TIF on State Street which is scheduled to close in 2015 and would begin providing additional revenue to schools.....By delaying the closing, that money would be funneled to the Edgewater benefit....not the immediate taxpayer beneft.
