I wish to thank all those voters that cast their vote for me for the Evansville School Board. When I announced for the race, I noted that my first support was for Art Phillips. I am pleased that Art, who has always asked the questions that I wanted asked, will be returning.
I am also sure that Tina Rossmiller will have a special contribution to give the school board given her experience. I wish her well.
During the campaign, I raised the issues I wanted to. I warned of the cuts and the fee increases to come. I even gave a vision of the future (as opposed to a dream) for debate purposes.(click on the post) I am grateful to those candidates that participated in the real and virtual forum.
The issues were what was important to me. If you as a voter have concerns by all means contact your school board representative prior to the board budget meeting in April. Those issues are not decided. Your voice can still be heard.
My supporters have told me to get back to work on The Evansville Observer. I will do so.
