I understand the need for diversity on the bench, but I look at it more for where the judges regional location is more so than their bloodlines or genitalia .
I am not a fan of hers based on the firefighter case out East. I first heard about it on NPR, and it still has me shaking my head.
I have no problem that the final four candidates for this position were female, but I question if that was because those were the four most qualified, or instead were the just the most politically appealing.
