When one of the builders asked if the 'new' p.d. will meet the needs of the department ten years from now, the response was that it doesn't meet their current needs. Then why are we doing this? I'm told that with the 'new' place, the police actually have LESS square footage than the old place. THEN WHY ARE WE DOING THIS??
This is ridiculous. Why are they moving again?? Especially if it will be less room?? That is just stupid. If it is not going to meet the needs in 10 years, don't waste tax payer money and time. Do it right the first time. I don't won't to hear them whining in another 10 years about wanting to move.
