Plan Commission Ponders Advertising in Parks: 12-1-2008: Doubleclick to enlarge
I think the city is coming around to my way of thinking. As I have stated in the past, why not offer up naming rights to the park, the "lake", the covered bridge, and the restrooms.
If this is what the city worries about during business hours, it explains how other less pressing issues could be overlooked.
If the city decides to tap into the untold amounts of advertising dollars from a local baseball field, why not redistribute that money to the unsuspecting homeowners who now have to pay for flood insurance in the newly discovered flood zone.
Wow! I can't believe the city wants to make money other than taxes. If that goes threw. Lets invest some of that money in some thing that pays dividens and make more money, not just spend.
