Even if only by a slim margin, Edwards nevertheless came in second last night. You would never know it for all the whoopla about the "change" candidate Obama who unlike Edwards, says nearly nothing of any substance with regard to what his "change" is going to consist of for fear of offending the corporate media. And Hilary, who represents what is actually the old liberal wing of the Republican Party, and stands for no substantive change at all, still gets tons of favorable press because of all the corporate boodle her pockets are stuffed with. Meanwhile the "angry Edwards" continues to get nearly zero coverage of the issues he's laid out, precisely because he's taken substantive positions on issues that are anathema to big wealth and power. And that's a real good reason to studiously ignore him while giving endless ink to the Barak and Hilary dog and pony show. What a shame.
And let us not forget that the Strategists for the DNP, as always, are being completely stupid by not getting behind the only candidate that has close to a shot to win some red states. I guess that is why people in this country will still vote for the GOP for the White house regardless of what our current situation is.
