Note of Thanks from the Observer: To City Staff

The Observer wishes to extend a hearty Happy New Year to all Evansville city staff, and send thanks for their efforts during the past year to get the info out, whether it was agendas or minutes or responses to requests for information.

Public information gets public only as a result of effort by city staff to make it so, and I have been impressed by their effort, even during very difficult moments.

In 2007, the citizens stood up and asked the questions. And the staff answered as best they could. Some questions and answers remain. For the record in reviewing all the video and posts......for 2007, The Observer did the film. The record speaks for itself.
