Click on the post for an OpEd piece in the Monroe Times detailing how a group of citizens has evaded the open meeting laws in organizing referendums in New Glarus.
This is oh so wrong. Is this a deal where the school board is just looking the other way or what??? Private group or Open meetings I don't see any ref passing in Evansvlle until the high school is paid for. I think that New Glarus school board needs to step up and start acting like a school board. What a sham.
For a administration that has board meetings and committees meetings that are open to the public at 7am on short notice, I don't think this is such a stretch.
If this school is in such dire need of things that they need a ref. to get more money than they need to do EVERYTHNG out in the open, its when people hide people become suspicious.
The point about elected officials LEADING was a strong one. the elected officials in Evansville in both the city and school seem to take their instruction from others rather than thinking for themselves or their constituents.
Just because someone says there is a problem doesn't make it so. And not every imaginary problem needs the recommended solution.
