MINUTES
Chairperson Cothard called the meeting to order at 5:30 PM. Present were Chairperson Cothard and Alderpersons Braunschweig and Roberts. Staff present: Dan Wietecha; City Administrator; Eric Jepperson, Finance Director; and Jim Beilke, Clerk/Treasurer. Mayor Decker was present in the audience.
Approval of Agenda
The Committee approved the agenda as printed.
Approval of Minutes
Motion by Braunschweig, seconded by Roberts, to waive the reading and approve the minutes for the regular meeting on April 9, 2007 as printed. Motion passed.
Citizen appearances other than agenda items listed - None
Water & Light Department Bills
Motion by Braunschweig, seconded by Roberts, to approve the Water & Light bills in the amount of $1,007,877.05 and authorize their payment. Motion carried unanimously on a roll call vote.
City Bills
Motion by Braunschweig, seconded by Roberts, to approve the City bills in the amount of $395,312.39 and authorize their payment. Motion passed unanimously on a roll call vote.
Unfinished Business - None
New Business
Chris Eager, Evansville Redevelopment Authority Chairperson, led the discussion regarding the use of TIF funds for the Allen Creek Master Plan project.
Mr. Wietecha led the discussion regarding the use of TIF funds for the 1) Economic Development Strategy and 2) Main Street CDBG Environmental Study and Grant Administration projects.
Motion by Cothard, seconded by Braunschweig, to approve both 1) Allen Creek and Master Plan and 2) Main Street CDBG Environmental Study and Grant Administration projects and to table the Economic Development Strategy project. Motion carried.
Mr. Wietecha led the discussion regarding the Department Head Contracts. He reported all the contracts are ready for approval except the Public Works and Building Inspector contract.
Motion by Braunschweig, seconded by Roberts, to recommend to Common Council the approval of Department Head Contracts. Motion carried.

Motion by Cothard, seconded by Braunschweig, to adjourn at 5:59 p.m. Motion passed.
