High School Scholarship Night Tonight: 7PM. High School

Tonight at Evansville High School, students who have worked very hard for many years, and their supportive parents, will see some concrete results in the form of scholarship awards for their future education. As a long time attendee of this event, I hope tonight to have some results shortly after the awards------and maybe even some classic video.

Evansville still needs a Turn-Around scholarship for those students who once appeared to be dropouts and then made drastic improvements in their schooling.

I absolutely agree, why have they not before. Its alot more difficult to dig your self out of a hole academically and stay on top of things, than to always pull As all the time. NOT to say those who always get A's don't deserve a big hurah, but its a big mountain to climb when you are on the bottom looking up. What is the reason for not already having this in place.

From what I have noticed being academically or behaviour wise the high school in particular does not give any credit to kids when they make changes for the better. They treat them like they are still making the same mistakes. No credit at all.

So what you all are saying is give a scholarship for someone who decided to get their crap together and become what they should have been all a long.

OK what about that kid who got B's his whole High School years?? He would have better off failing his Freshman Year
