Area residents were involved in several crashes overnight, leaving one dead and others seriously injured. Click on the post for the story in the Janesville Gazette.
OK am I the only one confused about the deal with Jason Tracy. He was stopped by a officer and blew .12 .. Is that not intoxicated and driving intoxicated. Legal limit is .08, excuse me but what the HELL happened? This guy would not have died had he been arrested as he should have been. No he was released to drive the roads DRUNK and possibly kill someone else . I want to know how that guy was ever let go??? How does that happen???? He may have been drinking , but the cop was negligent, I see a lawsuit with out a doubt.
He was not arrested but evidently not allowed to drive either. He called a friend who then at a later time let him drive. Thats the lasted on this on channel 3000. Really to sad if only he had been arrested.
I am sorry there is no wiggle room when it comes to a drunk, much less a drunk driver. How could cop let him go? Why would he that sends the wrong message. What is says is I can drive drunk I got away with it the last time. This is the not the place for a judgment call, it should be a slam dunk you go to jail. He could have killed someone besides himself. Which is sad enough. Drink and drive go to jail, pretty simple.
Ok now the sheriff's dept says not enough evidence to arrest him??? Please he was over the legal limit. I find this scarey that this seems to be ' ok' with the sheriff's dept, I have never and would never drink and drive however if I did and blew a .08.5 and they would throw my butt in the slammer as they should. Why do they have that limit if they are not going to use it?
What I want to know is when are we going to get a report of the investigation of the death of Dane Wourms. Its been over a month. Seems like we should be hearing something anytime now.
It seems if mitch is quite the cynic. There is alot more to this story about the Dane Wourms accident and we are just at the begining. Before you pass judgement you need to know the rest of the story, which you don't because it has not been told yet.
There is more to the Dane Wourms incident and it will all come out in good time, so that it is accurate , thats what we all want right??? The correct version, story. Dane is not hear to speak for himself so it just takes more time to put everything together ,, do MK< don't just assume you know it all.
