Election: Reflection: A Postscript

Last night I received a short email from my 82 year old mother-in-law. It read:

" Don’t throw those signs away. There will be another opportunity"

As some of you remember, she and her husband recently drove down to Florida for a month stay. I have always been amazed about her sense of youth and persistence. Yes.

Sometimes it takes five or ten years to achieve a worthwhile objective. I am grateful to all those voters in Evansville who supported me and remind them of the positive to celebrate: ---- that Melissa Hammann will bring honest, straightforward financial analysis to our Evansville School Board. Her victory is something to celebrate. Make a note of it.

  1. Sorry Richard,

I was really looking forward to you looking out for our children and our taxpayer dollars.

Please run again. The third time will be a charm.

  2. Thanks for running, Wolfman. Just remember, the world is run by the people who show up.

You're one of the ones who show up, Dick.

  3. I'm glad you ran Dad.
This seems an appropriate situation for my friend Martha's mantra "Show up. Pay Attention. Tell the Truth. Let Go of Results."
    That is, until next time.....
