School Beat: Plunkett Raysich Study: Discussion of Assessment: Discussion of Options

I must caution listeners that the options discussed are just that, options, and that the future is wide open. This is the very early discussion and the community will be formally involved, but it was not indicated when or how this would be implemented. Pull up a chair and listen in. The following are the 7 Options that are discussed in the following audio. I am listing these so you can follow the audio better. The "pro" and "con" aspects are discussed and explained in the audio, so I have not listed these.

Option 1:
a. Build New Middle School
b. Renovate and add to Elementary/ Intermediate School

Option 2:

a. Build two new K-5, 500- student schools
b. Renovate Elementary/Intermediate for Middle School
c. Re-purpose existing Middle School

Option 3:

a. Renovate Elementary/ Intermediate and add
b. Renovate Middle School and add.


Option 4:

a. Build two new schools, K-2 and 3-5
(Move Middle to Grove Campus was added in verbal discussion)

Option 5:

a) Do facilities needs only
b) Building a new Elementary School

Option 6: (Phased Option):

a)New Elementary School
b) Renovations to Elementary and Middle Schools

Option 7: (Transition Option)

a) Repurpose existing Middle School and Levi Leonard to K-4(5)
b) Repurpose existing Theodore Robinson to Middle School
