WSJ: Professor in an IPOD; What it means for you

Click on the post for an article in today's Wisconsin State Journal about the use of IPOD's for students to listen one more time to their professor's lectures. This is great for learning non-fiction.

On the Evansville Observer, below each audioblog is a button marked "Download"---If you wish to download any of the audio or video, just click that button and follow the directions. You can place the file in your itunes or Windows Media Player library for your listening or viewing pleasure.

In the old days, it was all about total domination of every element of the media. The Professor said, "Class, sit in your seats and listen." Now things are different. The professor says, "Here is the information. Listen and fit learning into your life." Big difference.

If you wish to podcast and list the Evansville Observer as a "feed", you can do so also. That way, each day you will get the updates.

Just remember. You are a free person with the Evansville Observer. Use the data as you wish. The times have changed in the educational paradigm-----well they have at least in some quarters. Stay tuned.
