ANNUAL MEETING TO FEATURE PLUG-IN VEHICLES
WHAT: Following the “State of WPPI” address at WPPI’s Annual Meeting, member utilities will
host a demonstration and display of plug-in vehicles.

• Photo Op: Local utility officials will participate in vehicle demonstrations.
• Learn what WPPI member communities are doing to support Plug-In Hybrid
Electric Vehicle (PHEV) and Neighborhood Electric Vehicle (NEV) technology.
• Get a firsthand look at a PHEV Ford Escape by Hymotion and two models of the
Summit Utility NEV by Reedsburg-based Columbia ParCar.

• Hear WPPI CEO Roy Thilly’s “State of WPPI” address.

WHY: WPPI member utilities have demonstrated overwhelming support for Plug-In Partners, a
national campaign promoting PHEVs. In addition, local interest continues to grow in the
potential for communities to benefit from use of the all-electric NEV.
