School Beat: Observer Speaks: On Purpose, On 4K, On Academic Excellence & More
The word "level playing field for all children" makes me think more and more. Isin't it a parents responsibility to make sure that his and her child is at least starting to understand basic knowledge to enter 5K. I would be all for getting parents (if they do not do this already) literature on where their child should be before entering 5K. When your child fails in future grades they want to make it your responsibility to get your child back on track, why now at a young age is it not your responsibility to get your child up to par with other children.
