First of all I would like to say that I have really enjoyed some of the articles that Gina Duwe has written covering Evansville. I like the idea behind these groups getting together and trying to get something going, Evansville could def use it, but I question the facilitator? Its not just about the 900$ paid for one, my question really is are things that BAD they need one? a facilitator is usually used when no one wants to listen to the other, and really hear what they are saying. The facilitator makes sure all sides are heard and keeps the peace. I think its really sad if this is what it has come to.
According to the article John Decker and Mr. Wyse are members of both the Economic Development Committee as well as the ECP. On the citys website, Jeff Farnsworth and Steve Hagan are listed as board of directors of the Chamber of Commerce.
Steve Hagan, John Decker and Tony Wyse sit together on the RDA and Jeff Farnswroth and John Decker are working together on the brick pavers for Main Street. Not to mention the obvious links to the mayor!
