Smart Growth Implementation Committee Discusses Raising Union EMS Fee:

Last week at the Smart Growth Joint Evansville-Union Implementation Committee there was the following notation in the minutes:

"EMS Payments – Currently allocations for EMS is as follows: Evansville: $26/resident; Union: $10/resident. Discussed increasing Union’s allocation to $15/resident in 2007 and $20/resident in 2008. "

Raising the fee for Union residents has been long overdue. I did not see an effective date. Hopefully this can happen soon. I also do not understand why these resident fees are not identical. Does anyone have an answer?
