    Good for the voice of reason!!! Whoever the guy was talking about the historic accuracy of Evansville, thank goodness you spoke out. This obsession with "Historic Evansville" needs to be exposed for what it is. The claims for historic integrity are not honest. The guy who said, “it’s me who has to trim them, and I don't want to do it” is more honest. If the powers that be want or don’t want something, they use "historic integrity" arguments to make their case. Some of those building fronts could use a little less exposure and the reflection of the trees in the window will look nice next to the “for rent” signs.
