The early morn meeting in Monroe produced a huge crowd---they all agreed that alternatives cuts were what was desired. They suggested a referendum and fee increases.
When asked about the virtual school at Monroe, the answer was that it is a money maker. The virtual school of Monroe brings in $180,000 per year and helps fund the other educational programs.
The referendum issue may be on the April ballot if Monroe can get the wording finalized by Feb 24th.

I would like someone else to talk a little about our school's insurance and benefit policy before we go through the same thing Monroe is
